Accessibility and Inclusion
Andrea Rimon aims to to work and teach in ways that center accessibility and inclusion. Their tying approach is explicitly designed to include members of marginalized communities that have not been well-served by tying’s historical home in the pansexual kink scene.
Andrea believes the only way of having of having a space be accessible to those who are marginalized is to create an explicitly and intentionally politicized space. Andrea begins from culture and politics because they believe that it is vital to address the the power structures that are the context for both life and art. Such a context includes things such as race, gender, ability, and class as well as the local power structures involved in teaching, working, and creative relationships.
Andrea is dedicated to working with the access needs of others. If cost is an issue, or there is any other accessibility need, please reach out.
